Great Question! We work really well as a project and job management solution for anyone who does a "thing" and wants to track any combination of labour, stock usage and/or purchasing. WorkGuru is workflow, not industry, focused, which lets us support the widest array of possible use cases. We have construction companies, metal work and fabricators, carpentry, joinery, boat builders, caravan companies, trailer manufacturers, commercial cleaners, water testing companies, agricultural consultants, engineers, architects, labour hire, workshops, commercial trades and many many more.
WorkGuru WON’T work for retailers, wholesalers or manufacturers of a production line of small things (e.g. Food, beverages, computer chips). Sadly, if you make beer, we’re not a good fit but there are excellent products out there for you. Check out Cin7 Core, Unleased or Fishbowl who do that stuff better.
The other place that we DON’T work as well, is residential trades. If you’re doing 10 jobs a day, on the road and running everything from your phone, we’re not the best fit! Look at something like Fergus, Tradify or ServiceM8.
