Send query to DB on key up rather than clicking search button. On Global Search
Pros - searches as you type/ may not need to type full word and don't need to click button
cons - searches on every key-up, resulting in more db calls and performance slowdown

Please clear your cache and hard reload (CTRL+F5) if the enter button isn't working for you - that was implemented and I've verified it's working this morning. Be advised that the global search doesn't yet search against ALL documents, so if you're not seeing any search results for a given term that may be why.

Kyle, is this the global search? If so, enter button still not working for me. I've been hanging out for this for ages!

Implemented via hitting enter button. Same processing performance with ability to search by clicking the search icon AND hitting enter
