As discussed with Tony in the drop in session yesterday there are 2 requests with respect to Timesheet Approvals
1) Once a timesheet is "Approved" there is no option to "Unapprove". Yet for a "Draft" timesheet there is the option to "Approve" or Unapprove".
Can you please add the "Unapprove" option to timesheets that are in "Approved" status.
This will enable the timesheet approver to quickly rectify if they make a mistake in approving a timesheet that has incorrect hours, task or project no etc.
2) Currently once a timesheet is approved by a person with timesheet approval permission the approver name is added to the timesheet however the timesheet is not locked from editing. Another user without timesheet approval permission who has "Creating Timesheets for other Users" permission can edit the timesheet and save. If the "Creating Timesheets for other Users" permission is removed for that user, the user can still edit the timesheet but only a limited number of tasks are available to change to.
In both cases there is no record of the edit as the Approver name and date/time approved is unchanged from the original approval.
In all circustances I believe that once a timesheet is approved, it should not be able to be edited in "Approved" status, it should first need to be "Unapproved" by a user with timesheet approver status, the edit made and then reapproved, with the re-approval details replacing or in addition to the original approval record.
