This is already the default workflow. Your production template, should include the amount of concrete, and you should record the actual amount of concrete used, to give you forecast vs Actuals

Also Production Job Template provides the standard quantity, when the concrete is produced there are slight variances, these need to be recorded in the Production Job for QA purposes, so we need a Design Quantity and a Actual Quantity.
