Our WorkGuru clients have a requirement to have Barcode fields inserted into document templates and printed as images in the (PDF) generated documents.
This would typically include the requirement to generate "Product Labels", but could we extended to use any field that represents a code. This could include fields such as "Product SKU", "Project Number", "Invoice Number", "PO Number" etc. This would be especially useful for documents such as Delivery Dockets or on the front of the Job Bag.
A suggested solution (if feasible) would be to use a Barcode Font in the default Wordtemplate, where you could add "*" before and after the field, like so: *[Barcode]*. This instructs the barcode scanner where the barcode image starts and ends.
