I would like to be able to adj the task at the invoice level instead of having to go back to the project to do so. Especially the sell price.

You can edit the invoice to change the pricing as required

That's not accurate. As noted below, when you click on Quick Invoice, the sell price is grayed out and you can't change it. You have to go to the task on the project in order to change it.

I, too, find it frustrating that you cannot adjust the task at invoice level, or write time/costs on or off. It would also be beneficial to be able to update the sell price when drafting the invoice, as opposed to going back and editing it before approval

You can not edit the sell price in the quick invoice process. you have to go back to the project and adj the task in order to do this.

Remember the quick invoice screen is not the "invoice" it's displaying the current financial state of the project so you can raise the appropriate invoice. Best practice is to edit the project to ensure the project forecast is accurate, however, once you raise a draft invoice you can fully edit it as required.
