I believe it would be useful for a "Unit/Unit of Measure" field to be added to the Product SKU's. eg ea, kg, metre each and for this to be shown on the Purchase Order screen and be able to be included on the actual PO sent to suppliers.
Woudl suggest that it be

Agreed there would be a good use case for this with several of my clients!
