Currently the product details dimension fields go to 2 decimal places, hoping this can be extended to 3 for cases where products need to be recorded to very specific mm

Different industries use different standards in units of measure. In our business we work in millimetres, and the guides refer to product measurements as being metres. This is OK as (for example) we can enter 65 millimetres as 0.065 metres, however as the system has only 2 decimal places, this is rounded up to 0.07 or 70 millimetres. This is problematic especially as our products have variable measurements, and such rounding up would cause confusion and errors in production and supply.
