With the Project Group we use this to allocate Projects as to which kind of Work we are doing. This also allows us to look at Jobs based on the type of work we are doing.
We have now hit an issue in that when you want to do a Variation, because we are already using the Project Group, it can only group the jobs based on our Job type and not group the Variations together so that Variations are help int he Project they relate to. Work Guru should generate a New Project Group to link the variations but it doesn't if you already have something allocated. The Variation grouping needs to be separated away from The Project Group and linked in another way otherwise the Project Group can only be use for a Variations and nothing else.
