This feature request s related to WorkGuru Support #26639
Currently, out of the six widgets displayed on a project, if a user does not have permission to view profitability or margin information, the system hides all four of the bottom widgets that contain dollar values. As a result, users only see hours worked and tasks completed.
However, we have a use case where managers/supervisors do not require access to revenue or profit figures, but they do need visibility over project costs to manage budgets effectively.
At the moment:
* These users can still see cost values at the line-item level (e.g. in the materials tab)
* But they cannot see the cost widget, which would provide a much clearer overall view of actual vs estimated costs
Feature request:
Allow more granular control over widget visibility, specifically:
* Enable users to view cost-related widgets
* While still restricting access to billable/revenue and profit widgets
This would improve usability and allow operational staff to manage project costs without exposing sensitive financial data.
