Feature request regarding the Google Drive integration.
Currently, when Google Drive is linked to WorkGuru and a user uploads a file (e.g. via the project Files section), the file is automatically stored in the main project folder created by WorkGuru.
However, for clients managing larger or more complex projects, they often maintain a structured set of subfolders within each project folder in Google Drive.
At the moment:
* Files uploaded via WorkGuru always go to the parent project folder
* Users must then manually move files into the correct subfolders in Google Drive
* This creates repetitive and unnecessary manual work
Feature request:
Enable users to select the destination folder (including subfolders) when uploading files via WorkGuru.
This enhancement would significantly improve efficiency and align better with how clients structure their project documentation.
Please let me know if you need any further details.
Thanks,
Liam

Hi Liam,
I completely agree with your feature request regarding ticket #26467. The current limitation of files defaulting to the main project folder creates unnecessary friction, particularly for teams that rely on granular subfolder structures to keep their documentation organised.
Having to manually move files after every upload is indeed repetitive work that detracts from productivity. The ability to select a specific destination subfolder during the upload process would be a logical and highly valuable enhancement. It would not only streamline workflows but also ensure that files land exactly where your team expects them to be right from the start.
Thanks for articulating this so clearly; it’s a strong case for improving the Google Drive integration.
