I'd like to request an enhancement to how purchase orders map to material line items.
Currently, if a Project Manager changes the name or description of a selected material line on a PO, the system treats it as a separate ("ghost") line item. The cost is then only visible in the Financials section instead of being allocated back to the original material line.
Could this be changed so that once a material line is selected, the costs always remain mapped to that line, regardless of any description or name changes?
Additionally, if a "naked" PO is created (without selecting a material line), could WorkGuru automatically create a material line and allocate the cost to it? This would improve material cost tracking instead of leaving the cost only in Financials.
