Stock Transfers - Create, Dispatch and Receive a Stock Transfer

Stock transfers allow you to move stock between your warehouses.

• Dispatch a Stock Transfer.
• Receive a Stock Transfer

Create a Stock Transfer

Click on +Add Stock Transfer from the stock transfer dashboard. (Stock -> Stock Transfers)

On the new stock transfer detail page, complete the following

• Number - Leave blank or enter unique transfer ID
• Description - Reason for transfer
• Source Warehouse - Where is the stock being transferred from.
• Destination Warehouse - Where is the stock being transferred to.
• Click Add Productto add all the products transferred as required.
  • SKU - Search for SKU/product code
  • Name - Search for product name
  • Available Quantity - Current stock on hand (SOH) in the source warehouse.  You cannot transfer more SOH than is available.
  • Quantity - Enter quantity to transfer.

Confirm the data entered and click Save.

Dispatch a Stock Transfer.

Dispatch the stock transfer when the products have left the source warehouse.  Open the stock transfer from the Draft tab of the stock transfer dashboard. (Stock -> Stock Transfers).  

Confirm the transfer details and click Dispatch.

Note the Dispatched Date field has been populated. The stock on hand will be moved out of the source warehouse.

Receive a Stock Transfer

Receive the stock transfer when the stock arrives at the destination warehouse.  Open the stock transfer from the Dispatched tab of the stock transfer dashboard. (Stock -> Stock Transfers).  

Confirm the transfer details and click Receive.

Note the Received Date field has been populated. The SOH has been increased in the destination warehouse.

The stock transfer can be confirmed from the transferred product's stock movement history.
