GuruMail in WorkGuru allows you to easily save emails and their attachments directly to projects so they are easily available in a centralised location for access via the browser or on the go via the mobile apps. Simply forward an email to your WorkGuru's email address with the project number in the email's subject line. Your WorkGuru's email address is your WorkGuru tenant_name@workguru.email. You can confirm your WorkGuru's tenant name from your account menu in the top right hand corner.
Once you retrieve your WorkGuru tenant name, you can forward emails to your WorkGuru project by composing an email in your preferred mail client with the following mandatory content:
- Recipient Email Address - tenantname@workguru.email
- Subject - Must contain the project number, however can occur anywhere in the subject.
- Sender Email Address - The sender must be from an email attached to an active WorkGuru user for anti-spam purposes.
Emails that have successfully been allocated to the project will display in the Emails section of the project's Notes tab. Scroll to access multiple emails. Emails cannot be edited, but can be deleted by clicking the trash icon.
Any files attached to the emails will also be listed in the project's Files tab under the Emailed Files, to differentiate them from directly uploaded files. Files can be deleted by with the Delete button. Note: Deleting the attachment will not delete the email in the project's Notes tab.
