Another way of managing your project list is to display them by project or task on a kanban board. Kanban boards visually depict work at various stages of a process displaying projects as cards and columns to represent each stage of the process. Cards are moved from left to right to show progress.
You can switch to the kanban view by clicking Switch View dropdown on the project dashboard. Select the Project Board or Task Board.
The Task Board displays the tasks of each within each project.
Projects and tasks can then be moved between stages by moving left and right as required. Projects can also be moved up and down the list within the status to determine order of completion.
Kanban View Settings
The project and task kanban layouts can be configured in the settings. Click the COG icon next to the Project Board or Task Board to access the settings.
Adjust the layout settings as required and click Save.
- Status Name - Available project statuses.
- Header Colour - Click to change the header colour of the status.
- Column Order - Control the display order of the status columns via numerical order.
- Display on Board - Control visibility of status columns.
- Show current production jobs? - Toggle the display of production jobs in addition to projects.
You can return to the standard project dashboard by selecting List View from the Switch View dropdown at any time.
