WorkGuru projects has functionality that allows users to raise project purchase order by using a purchase template. To add purchase templates to projects, add or edit the project and select Toggle Purchase Template Visibility from the project details Actions menu.
This will add the Purchase Template section to the end of the add/edit project details page. Search for the required templates to add to the project. You can add multiple purchase templates as required. Click the Trash icon to remove templates. Save Project to apply updates. Note: The purchase template MUST have a default supplier assigned to be added to a project.
Projects that have purchase templates added, will display Purchase by Templates in the project details Materials tab.
To raise a project purchase order from a template, click Purchase by Templates and select the required template(s) from the popup. When you have selected the template(s) you are wanting to use, click Generate Purchases for Selected Templates.
A draft project purchase order will be automatically be raised per template selected. Mangage the draft orders as per your normal purchasing workflow form the project's Purchases tab.
