Issuing a Quote

Modified on Thu, 23 Apr at 11:25 AM

Issuing a Quote is the process of marking that a draft quote has been Issued, which in WorkGuru's context means the quote is complete and ready to send to a client. This locks the quote so if it needs to be edited, it is to be revised as a formal version.  Note: WorkGuru will never automatically send quotes to clients, you need to manually or create a workflow to automate this process.

To issue a quote, Search for, or select the quote number from the Draft Quotes widget or Drafts tab of the quotes dashboard.

From the functionality at the base of the quote, click the Issue Quote button.

The quote will then be Issued and will display in the Current Quotes widget and the Issued tab on the quote dashboard. The quote is not in a locked state ready to print (download) or email to the client. Once issued, the quote will need to be revised to be able to be edited again.
