Overview
To Dos are a feature of task lines that can be added on task lines in quotes, projects, production jobs and their counterpart templates - which allow you to add a list of things relevant to that task that can be checked off via left click on the checkbox and reversed by another left click (E.G. adding a checkbox that appropriate protections are in place for employee safety records). They can be accessed when expanding the task line item details as seen below on an example project edit page:
Adding/Editing/removing a Task To Do
To add a Task To Do to a task line you need to be on the transactions add or edit page, then add the text for the To Do and hit enter on your keyboard to finish - rinse and repeat for however many Task To Dos are required.
To make changes to an existing Task To Do you can left click on it to open it back up as a pop up and make any adjustments (the "X" to the left of the "tick" is to clear the To Do Text, while the "X" on the right is to cancel current changes and close the edit pop up) then when ready hit the blue "tick" symbol on the right of the pop-up to save the changes made.
If you want to remove a specific Task To Do all together then you can delete it by hitting the "X" symbol on the right and hit Okay on the pop up to action the removal.
Task To Do Functionality
Task To Dos retain their checked/unchecked status between the transaction edit page and transaction details page - meaning if you mark a Task To Do item as checked in a project add/edit page, it will retain that checked status when you hit save and are brought to the project details page.
Transaction templates (project templates, etc) that do have Task To Dos added to them will also follow the same logic and will apply the To Dos at the same status they are set to on the template (checked or unchecked) when uploaded to the corresponding transaction (e.g. project template being uploaded to a project).
