Setting up the integration between WorkGuru and Shopify is a two step process. Ensure that you have logged in as admins to both your WorkGuru and Shopify store before starting.
Install the WorkGuru App in Shopify
From your Shopify cpanel menu, click on Apps and sales channels and select Shopify App Store.
Search for the WorkGuru app and click Install
Review the permissions and click Install.
The WorkGuru app when installed can then be managed in the Shopify cpanel.
Connect to WorkGuru
Once the app is successfully installed in Shopify, it will launch a WorkGuru tab to connect. Select the WorkGuru warehouse you want to connect to Shopify. This is the warehouse orders will be downloaded to process and dispatch with the available stock on hand. Click Connect to confirm.
Once connected, the Shopify dashboard will display. Confirm the connection by clicking Test Connection.
If you see the green confirmation tick, Shopify has been connected successfully and is now ready to:
- Sync products
- Download orders
Interrupted Connection
If you didn't get a chance to connect to Shopify after the WorkGuru app has been installed, you can continue the connection at a later time. Continue the integration from Shopify by selecting
from the WorkGuru app in the Apps and sales channels page.
You will be re-prompted in WorkGuru to select the required warehouse to Connect. Note: This is also how you get your one-time code to connect directly from WorkGuru, once connected you will need to regenerate the code.
You can also continue from the WorkGuru side by entering the Shopify connection code directly into the Shopify integration dashboard. Click Continue Integration With Code.
Enter the code supplied by Shopify (Apps and sales channels -> WorkGuru.io -> Open App) and Continue.
Select the required warehouse and click Connect.
