Dispatching Shopify Orders

Modified on Fri, 25 Jul at 12:26 PM

When orders are placed in the connected Shopify store, WorkGuru will automatically sync Shopify orders as invoiced Stock Sales in the selected warehouse. Complete the stock sales by dispatching the order. This will then update the fulfilment status in Shopify.

Shopify orders need to be in the Unfulfilled status to sync to WorkGuru. You may need to adjust your Shopfiy store settings to make sure your checkout workflow is compatible with the integration.

Reviewing Orders

Shopify orders can be accessed in two locations:

Shopify Orders Dashboard

Click See Orders in the shopify integration dashboard.

The shopify order dashboard display synced orders in the Approved, Draft, Dispatched or All status. Clicking the order Number will open the stock sale detail page for review or dispatch.

Stock Sale Dashboard

Shopify orders can also be reviewed and dispatched directly from the stock sale dashboard.

Dispatching Orders

Complete the Shopify orders by fully or partially dispatching the line items via the same workflow as standard stock sales. Note: Shipping/shipping labels and consignments should be all managed in Shopify. Depending on your Shopify store settings/workflow these may be need to be created before dispatch in WorkGuru.

Once fully or partially dispatched, the order's fulfilment status in Shopify will be updated to reflect stock movement in WorkGuru. Note: Currently orders in Shopify with the shipping method of Local Pickup, need to be manually fulfilled in Shopify AND dispatched in WorkGuru.

Shopify will also manage all your custom facing notifications.
