Lead Automations

Automate the moment a lead arrives — follow-up tasks, owner alerts, welcome emails — and

chase leads that go quiet so nothing slips through the cracks.

## Triggers

| Trigger | Type | Fires when |

|---|---|---|

| **Lead Created** | Event | A new lead is created. Runs immediately. |

| **Lead Timer** | Timer (daily) | Runs on a daily schedule across your **open** leads (Won/Lost leads are excluded). Used for age-based reminders and "gone quiet" nudges. |

## Conditions you can use

Common lead fields to filter on:

- **Budget** — e.g. only act on leads worth more than a figure you set.

- **Category** — e.g. only "Wholesale" leads.

- **Creation date** — for timer reminders based on how long ago the lead arrived.

- **Last activity date** — for "no activity in N days" nudges.

For timer reminders, use the **"Date is exactly N days old"** operator so each reminder

fires once on its day (e.g. at 7, 14 and 21 days) rather than every day.

## Actions

**Create Lead Activity** — schedules a follow-up activity (a call, task, etc.) against the

lead, due a set number of days after the lead was created.

- *Owner* — who it's assigned to (defaults to the lead's owner). **Required.**

- *Activity type* — pick from your activity types. **Required.**

- *Days after created* — when it's due. **Required.**

- *Description* — optional notes.

**Send Lead Email** — emails the lead's owner, client or contact.

- *To* / *CC* — recipients (a role like "Lead Owner", a specific person, or a typed

  address). *To* is **required**.

- *Subject* and *Message* — **required**; you can include lead placeholders like

  `[LeadName]`, `[LeadClientName]` and `[LeadOwnerFullName]`.

- *Document template* — optional; attaches a generated lead PDF.

**Create To-Do** — adds a WorkGuru to-do linked to the lead

These templates appear in the **Revenue Growth Pack** and the Starter Pack. See the full

list in the [Template Catalogue](11-template-catalogue.md).

## Tips

- "Stale lead" reminders fire **once per interval** — a lead at exactly 7 days gets the

first reminder, at 14 the second, and so on. Adjust or remove any interval before

  activating.

- Won and Lost leads are automatically excluded from timer reminders, so you won't chase a

  closed lead.
