Business and Warehouse fields allow you to insert organisation details into supported WorkGuru document templates.

Document Compatibility

Business fields are supported on all document templates:

• All Documents see All Document Templates

Warehouse fields are available on the following document templates:

• Invoices - see Invoice Document Templates
• Projects - see Project Document Templates
• Purchase Orders - see Purchase Order Templates
• Stock Sales - see Stock Sale Document Templates
• Production Jobs - Production Document Templates

Business and Warehouse fields are Universal Fields, which means they can be placed directly within a supported document template and do not need to be inside a repeating table. Merge fields are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as displayed below.

Business Fields

Business fields display information relating to your business. They are useful for document headers, business identification, tax information, addresses and other standard business details. Because Business fields are available across many WorkGuru document types, they can be used to create consistent organisation details across your document templates.

The appropriate field depends on how you want the business address formatted within your document. This example Business Header uses business fields combined to create a standard document header.

Warehouse Fields

Use these fields to display the Warehouse name and address information associated with the transaction.

Troubleshooting

Merge Fields Are Blank

Check that:

• The applicable business information has been populated in WorkGuru's invoice settings (Administration -> Settings -> Invoice -> Company Details).

Merge Fields Appear Instead of Values

If fields such as [BusinessLegalName] appear in the generated document instead of their values, check:

• Merge field spelling
• Capitalisation
• Document compatibility
• That the merge field includes both square brackets

Merge fields are case sensitive.
