Reversing Stock Sale Dispatches

Modified on Wed, 4 Dec at 2:44 PM

If you need to reverse a full or partial product dispatch on a stock sale, you can Undo the the dispatch from the stock sale's Dispatches tab.

Confirm the reversal on the prompt by clicking OK.

This will return the reversed product's quantity and value back into stock on hand. This dispatch reversal will also be visible on the products stock movement history:

On the Dispatches tab, each row will relate to a product dispatch that has been made on that transaction and will be sorted by first dispatch at the top.

The quantities will also correlate to the quantities set out on the dispatches, so if you had 2 dispatches of SKU 1, they will be listed as 2 lines which you can reverse one at a time - while if you have 1 dispatch of SKU 1 with a quantity of 2, you will be left with 1 line which you can reverse both.

If there is no other dispatches, the stock sale's status will revert from Dispatched back to Approved as it no longer has a dispatch date applied. To complete the sale again, you will need to fully or partially re-dispatch the products on the sale. Note: Reversing stock sale dispatches only affects the stock movement of the stock sale, it doesn't not impact the invoiced status. E.g: the sale will remain invoiced if one has been raised.
