The Custom Fields dashboard in WorkGuru provides a list or all Custom Fields setup in WorkGuru.    Custom Fields can be used to capture and record information specific to requirements.    Custom Fields are available to be added to the following functions:

  • Assets
  • Projects
  • Clients
  • Suppliers
  • Purchase Orders
  • Timesheets
  • Quotes
  • Leads
  • StockSales
  • Production Jobs
  • Project Groups

Custom Fields can also be marked mandatory so they have to be filled out.

The custom fields dashboard lets you create and manage your custom fields.    Create a custom field by clicking +Add a Custom Field.   Edit and delete fields by clicking the edit and trash icons at the end of the row.  Note:  Depending on screen size, you may need to click the row expander + icon to access the edit and trash icons.

Custom fields can then be displayed on the relevant document templates by using the work Custom as a prefix to the field name, [CustomFieldName] eg [CustomEst_Project_Start].    Field name is case sensitive etc.
