In addition to task and product line items, project templates can pre-populate your quote, project or production job custom fields using project templates custom fields.
You can create custom fields to template details, task and product line items. When adding project template custom fields, they are designed to be linked to the equivalent project, quote or production job fields. This means that if the template is assigned to a project or quote, the value entered in the template's task custom field will pre-populate the quote and project.

- Project Template Product Line - Project and quote task line item custom fields.
The template custom field functionality is also contextual:
- Production templates custom fields can only pre-populate production job custom fields.
- Project template custom fields can only pre-populate quote and product custom fields.
When adding the template to a quote, project or production job, the default is to pre-populate relevant custom fields from the template. If you don't want this to happen, deselect the Fill blank custom fields option is selected to not populate the fields with values and leave them blank to complete manually.
